emnify is rolling out a new feature that will extend the IP address space available to customers to millions of devices, eliminating the current /24 and /28 limitations. This will enable long term growth and at the same time will provide customers significant flexibility in configuring their own IP address spaces.
This feature is available to all
new
emnify customers starting on November 25, 2024 and will be subsequently rolled out for all
customers as per follow up announcements.Highlights:
- New organizations will have a /12 IP address space pre-allocated.
- Additionally, new organizations will also be able to configure their own IP address spaces (see attached screenshot) from the RFC6598 (shared address space) and the RFC1918 (private address space).
